Maldives is fully open for Tourism with record breaking Visitor Numbers

Tourism in Maldives re-opened in July 2020 and the last quarter of 2021 has seen tourist arrivals surpass pre-covid levels and very low covid numbers.

Visiting Maldives is straightforward. You simply need a Negative PCR Certificate issued within 96 hours of your departure flight. This applies to ALL Visitors to Maldives, irrespective of their vaccination status.

Returning to Ireland, all visitors require a Negative PCR Cert issued within 72 hours of their flight home. This can be arranged in resort. This requirement is constantly under review and is currently in place for all arrivals into Ireland until 09 January 2022.

With daytime temperatures of 32C and night time temperatures 27C year round, the focus is on AL FRESCO dining ( weather permitting ). In addition, all bars have extended their outdoor areas, thus reducing risk during this pandemic. Maldives has had a low infection rate compared to most other countries and with government protocols and covid negative entry requirements, Maldives is one of the safest tourist destinations to visit.

Our Team is here to answer all your questions.
